Composting Program
Just as a reminder, Warren has a composting program available to ALL residents. There is a composting bin located in the upper parking lot at Town Hall, just past the Red Cross Donation Bin. Though not required in order to utilize the composting bin, we have composting kits available here at Town Hall for a cost of $25, or you can purchase a roll of just the composting bags for $5. Neither of these items are required, you can dump a bucket or a filled compostable bag into the receptacle. When using the bin, please make sure the top is latched and securely locked. We have nosy and hungry bears that like to scatter the contents, creating a mess that is not only unsightly, but difficult to clean up.
By utilizing the bin, it is not only good for the environment, but it helps to cut down on the tonnage added to our garbage, helping reduce the cost of garbage removal.
