Hunting Season Cautions!

Deer hunting with rifle started today, and some people may not realize that is a good idea for you and your pets to wear bright and noticeable colors when hiking or in the woods at this time of year. We want to keep all of our residents safe!

Archery (Private Land): Sept 15 – Dec 31 (Zones 11 & 12 extend to Jan 31, 2026).

Archery (State Land): Sept 15 – Nov 18 & Dec 24 – Dec 31 (Bowhunting Only Areas run Sept 15 – Dec 31).

Firearms (Private Land): Nov 19 – Dec 9.

Firearms (State Land - No Lottery): Nov 19 – Dec 9

Muzzleloader (Private Land): Dec 10 – Dec 31.

Muzzleloader (State Land): Dec 10 – Dec 23.
