Obtaining a Burn Permit

In order to have an open burn on your property, you must come in to the Town Clerk at Town Hall to obtain a burn permit. After filling out and signing the required application, your permit is valid for one month. You must follow all directions listed on the permit, and your signature states that you understand and agree to the regulations. On the day you would like to burn, you are to call the number listed on the permit (860-868-7881 ext 124) to ensure it is safe to burn on that day. Burning on a non burn day could result in a fine, or even worse, a forest fire. Thank you for helping to keep Warren safe!
