Regulation of Wake Board Operation on Lake Waramaug

As many of you are aware, an ordinance prohibiting the use of wake-enhancing devices on vessels being operated on Lake Waramaug was passed by all three lake communities (Warren, Washington, and Kent) on July 31st. The ordinance has been under review by CT DEEP for the past sixty days and on October 6th, CT DEEP completed their review and approved the ordinance. The ordinance will go into effect in February 2026 when published in the CT DEEP Boater Safety Guide. Thanks to all for your patience during this process.
